SYNOPSIS
 It took four days to complete the first three rounds of the rain-plagued AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Officials had already decided to extend play until Monday, though, in an attempt to complete 72 holes and what happened was spellbinding. Tiger Woods, riding a five-tournament win streak, started the final round five strokes behind Matt Gogel and Mark Brooks. Gogel then made three early birdies so Woods was seven strokes behind as he made the turn. Gogel began to struggle, though, and Woods swooped in for the kill -- holing a pitching wedge for eagle at the 15th hole and setting up a 3-foot birdie with another deadly wedge at No. 16. Wood gained a share of the lead when Gogel bogeyed the 16th and seized sole possession with a birdie at the 18th. "I've been there," Woods said. "I blew one at Quad Cities (in 1996) and I know what it feels like to go through all those emotions for the first time. I know how difficult it is to win your first tournament."
