Q. What's your reaction?

KEVIN STREELMAN: Well, it's not too unexpected I would say. Walking around the course this morning it's extremely saturated. There is obviously no place for this water to go. It doesn't surprise me. To go on the grounds, the ball can be lost in the fairway, that's not a way to have a PGA TOUR event as well. I would probably say it's the right decision.

Q. You are on the right side of everything, money wise, is there anything you lose from this as far as goals you had set besides winning?

KEVIN STREELMAN: It is a nice opportunity to try to get a win. The golf course I really like the look of. But God had other plans for us today. We will prepare for Disney and go have some nice time with my in laws who live in Tuscaloosa.

Q. I was going to say you were going to Disney anyway so this doesn't change think plans for you?

KEVIN STREELMAN: No, I just get two extra days. We have our dog over there in Tuscaloosa, so I get to see him today which will be fun.

Q. Maybe get in some football before the day is over?

KEVIN STREELMAN: Yes, maybe watch some football. Unfortunately Alabama is off this weekend. I will see if there is some other good games going on today.

Q. Rich, you are at 124th, this was obviously a key week for you. A key week for even more of the guys behind you, your reaction?

RICH BEEM: Yes, I think it's unfortunate for the Viking Classic. I really do. I feel bad for the folks at Viking who try to put their best foot forward to try to make a golf tournament. Obviously we couldn't because of the conditions of the golf course. From my standpoint it's one less week to be able to move up. I think now Disney becomes more important and more crucial to play well, but I would have had to play well to win the last two tournaments anyway. Now it just comes down to one event.

Q. A little more back to the wall even though you're on the right side of the wall?

RICH BEEM: Even though I'm on the right side of the wall my back is to the wall, yes. I would be lying to you saying it wasn't nerve wracking to a point. The only thing I can control is how well I play. If I could go home with this week, with a week off now, get practice time in and get ready for Disney, that's all I can control. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to go out to Disney and play well and see if we can't wrap this thing up.

Q. The lousy part is you are going to be asked these questions again in two weeks?

RICH BEEM: You know what, that's okay. Unfortunately the only person us that put me in this position is the guy looking in the mirror. I got nobody to look at but myself. Unfortunately I don't want to be in this position, but let's make the best of it.

Q. You were on the course during the week, you have been probably out there today, was there any option you could see that made things playable?

RICH BEEM: You know, we were out there Tuesday morning first thing, the course wasn't horrible. But once it rained hard Tuesday afternoon, obviously not being able to play on Thursday, we didn't get rain on Thursday, then we knew there might be something up and then certainly the conditions yesterday didn't help out at all. They are just put in a tough spot. The rules officials don't want to do this, the PGA TOUR doesn't want to do this, and certainly Viking don't want this to happen. But unfortunately Mother Nature did it to us, and I think the PGA TOUR made the right decision in the end.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q. Dicky, can I get your reaction to this news?

DICKY PRIDE: It's frustrating. I don't want to say it's upsetting, especially when you want to have the opportunity to play this late in the year, lots on the line, a lot of people need to make money and gain position or hold their position. So it's upsetting, but what can you do? It is what it is. Not much fun. The golf course is not playable. We tried everything to do. It's just not going to work out.

Q. Dicky, it seems like you must have waited a little longer, now you waited more like anybody else, it's a tough position for everybody, isn't it?

DICKY PRIDE: Yes, I don't think anyone is happy. But what can you do? You really can't do anything. Randy Watkins, and the tournament staff, did an unbelievable job to do everything they can. They took great care of us to do everything they could to get the golf course ready. It didn't work out. It's too bad for Viking. Too bad for the fans. It's too bad for the players because we like playing. It is what it is. You got to go on. You can't do anything about it.
